John, a sixty-something lonely alcoholic, and his feisty bartender Kelly, befriend Justin, a gay Korean teen who’s been kicked out of his home. Together they travel to Atlanta’s biggest electronic music festival in hopes to reunite the boy with his first love, David.
From the award-winning LGBTQ+ writer/director of Somewhere Slow, Drunk John is a poignant and joyous adventure that explores the connections we’re afraid to lose and the family we’re afraid to create.
